2018 BIZNOVATOR Camp Rising Stars: (Part II) Start-Up Entrepreneurs, Social Innovators and Leaders

What a summer it’s been. From kicking-off our first BIZNOVATOR Innovation Camp of 2018 at SAP and at Wix, to having 3 of our BIZNOVATORS alumni participate in 7 Mindsets’ Ultimate Life Summit in Atlanta. Our youth are for sure, getting heavy dosages of BIZNOVATOR’S mission: to empower, teach and create young entrepreneurs, social innovators and global leaders. We’ve witnessed, firsthand, students arriving somewhat puzzled and not sure what their parents encouraged them to take on, to leaving our camp completely different and full of ideas. In fact, most of all our students leave with a much sharper eye for opportunities. After experiencing our camps, students leave mindful, and driven to launch their own venture.

In this 2^nd in series of 5, you’ll learn from 2 excellent of examples of how Gen Z view opportunities in business, but also how they are using their creativity and innovation skills to impact and fill local community voids.

Augustin Helu, Founder and Creator of My Hype

Mission: “To offer a unique user experience where they can buy, sell, and share the latest hype items.”

In the SAP camp, I had the honor of teaching Augustin Helu, a 16-year-old BIZNOVATOR Camp participant from Argentina. His business start-up venture, My Hype, is a social network app that will allow users to buy, sell, and simply share the latest hype apparel items. Hype is a clothing style that is constantly changing, but that is always trending. As founder, Augustin said, “a hype beast may be defined as a person who follows a trend to be cool or stay in style; a person who wears what is hyped up.” When I asked Augustin to share what exactly defines a Hype Beast, he responded that, “it’s a kid that collects clothing, shoes, and accessories for the sole purpose of impressing others.”

My Hype has such a big market t opportunity because no other app offers users to actually share or explore others Hype items. My experience at this summer’s SAP camp, has once again, allowed me to be schooled and understand how today’s Gen Zers are thinking and what’s running through their minds. They don’t see barriers, and that when you keep your hand on the trends and focus on what today’s teenagers are thinking, everything is possible.

Eduardo Colina, Founder and President of Drone-Bots

Mission: “To combine innovation with convenience and safety”

As the youngest BIZNOVATOR Camp participant this summer, Eduardo impressed his peers and our team through his genius and creative idea.  His business plan focused on creating, Drone-Bots. Drone-Bots is a venture that designs drones and robots to work together as one unit to solve several problems for the end user.  Drone–Bots are used for anything in high altitude that needs repairs, or changes. Drone-Bots will make work safer, more efficient, and inexpensive. These Drone-Bots are going make the future a more work efficient world.

Presently, we are delivering our most impacting BIZNOVATOR Camp at Florida International University. FIU is home to the #6 ranked international business program in the USA.
