Today we’d like to introduce you to Juan Casimiro.

What began in Juan’s startup career in 1987 laid the groundwork for educational empowerment for youth and adults around the world. Now with 30+ years of experience as a public speaker, entrepreneur, educator and coach, Juan specializes in building individual and organizational strength from within. His trajectory of work in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, coaching, growth mindsets and strategic non-profit development is known for the immediate enthusiasm it generates and the long-term benefits that come from them.

Throughout his extensive career and under his leadership, he has been actively engaged in creating and delivering effective programs that lead to sustainability and empowerment for youth and adults in more than 30 countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa. Juan regularly conducts lectures and workshops at various US Embassies, leading universities, corporations, and organizations globally. As the CEO and Founder of BIZNOVATOR, he consistently seeks out ways to incorporate social responsibility strategies that foster and strengthen human capacity. His belief that youth development reigns supreme is a theme throughout his ventures in non-profit to corporate and beyond.

Juan has always been driven by impact, passion, purpose, and dedication to service and making sure youth are living to their full potential. He is actively engaged in the community and charitable contributions to society by serving as a mentor and coach to numerous youth around the world. Within his many responsibilities, Juan serves as Chairman/Founder of the Casimiro Global Foundation, an international youth development organization that provides internships and helps create social entrepreneurs in marginalized communities.

As Co-Founder of 7 Mindsets, a youth empowerment organization headquartered in Atlanta, GA., he seeks to continue growing a global network of mindful young leaders that will continue to empower others. Juan Chairs Service for Peace, an entity that focuses on bringing sustainability programs to rural communities in the Dominican Republic. He is most proud of being a Co-Founder of Alpha Psi Lambda, the first national coed Hispanic Fraternity in the USA. Since 2013 he has been the President of the United Nations Association-Miami Chapter.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Never a smooth road, nor an easy journey. Like any venture, it takes time to establish it and grow it. Finding and cultivating the right team is not an easy task. It’s taken time; and quite often I feel like its a real passion driven work-in-progress, even if it has been many years with the entities I either developed, lead or seeking to launch.

Beyond the day to day business challenges all entrepreneurs face, one constant in most cases is the raising and securing capital to grow. I, however, have learned to work around that. It no longer bothers me, nor does capital it slow me down or motivate me as much as the impact does! I’ve learned to move past it and remain focus on the big picture–helping create the next generation of mindful entrepreneurs, social innovators, and global leaders.

Regardless of the challenges I’ve faced in my life, it has been well worth it! I live and I seek. Teaching and empowering youth is what has brought me this far (30+ countries, over 350,000 people in the last 30+ years). I do not know exactly what the future has in store for me, but I do know that I control my own destiny. That said, the struggles I’ve been through are at a minimum if you add up at the return on social impact (ROSI) I’ve had.

In an “ever-changing” world of technology and fast-paced decision making, it’s my belief that what sets us apart from other entities is how our team has been able to take my “old school” principles (55 years young) and added technology to the mix to make us a cutting-edge venture that focuses on new age eduction. Our bottom line is empowering and teaching young people while giving them access to an awesome platform that positions them launch their ideas!

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Having a father and mother with little to no formal education, they taught what they could.

Naturally what they taught me is priceless and can’t be learned in a classroom. They molded me to the man I am today with their own very ingredients, wisdom, and modeling.

I often share with my students that the most important qualities that have allowed me to be successful are:
Being as transparent as possible; loving others unconditionally; being flexible and open; serving and giving without expecting a return; good old hard work ethics; listening carefully to others;
